Tecla Project (2011-2012)
A new Piano for the Julián Aguirre Conservatory
For just over a year, the Tecla Project was a special achievement that I coordinated with the Conservatory's management.
The result was the purchase of a new YAMAHA C7 PIANO for the institution.
Raising the awareness of teachers and students, I organized countless activities for the cause: meetings, dissemination through different media, raffles, business tours and companies in the area, as well as contacts with musicians from the country and abroad in search of donations.
On the other hand, the convocation and realization of innumerable benefit concerts. With entry always to the cap, where some put coins and others large sums of money, all equally valuable in a collective effort. Finally, the Mayor of the Municipality upon learning of everything that had been done, also joined in the collaboration.
It was an unprecedented work and achievement that I spearheaded with an entire community, incredibly united by a common goal.
The great dream was fulfilled with the arrival of the instrument in October 2012 and a great celebration in May 2013 that brought together all those who participated in the project.
Special thanks:
