Mónica Zubczuk

 After obtaining the Higher Piano Professorship at the Julián Aguirre Conservatory of Music in 1986, I abandoned the instrument for a period of ten years.

 Seeing an advertising poster for the "2nd Buenos Aires International Music Festival" was the incentive that led me to take up the piano again in 1997. In the Manuel de Falla Conservatory, the Argentine Catholic University and the Colón Theater, I participated in their activities and I got a Special Mention in your contest.

 Days later I was in Italy. Winning a new award at the former Lopez Buchardo National Conservatory gave me the opportunity to travel there and perfect my studies. From then on, I began to walk a musical path that until today has not stopped in its footsteps.
